Welcome to Whites Bar & Kitchen
We are an award winning restaurant and bar located in the beautiful, historic town of Steyning. Formerly a 15th century coaching inn and staging post on the road from Brighton to London. The grade II listed building, reputedly visited by Charles I and said to be haunted, was badly destroyed by fire in 1946. 60 years later, it was lovingly and sympathetically restored by owners David and George White, and now offers the best in contemporary dining and drinking in a relaxed environment.

Join us for an authentic Indian evening with freshly prepared vibrant dishes perfect for cooler autumn nights. We will be serving a taster plate of traditional Indian starters followed by a beautiful and varied mixed curry platter followed by one of India's most popular desserts.
