New to the Whites family
The Fountain in Ashurst is now under the new ownership of the Whites family, the team behind the award winning Whites Bar & Kitchen in Steyning and the recently refurbished Swan Inn in Fittleworth.
This characterful grade II listed building is a shining example
of a traditional English country pub, with original solid timber beams, inglenook fireplaces and flagstone floors throughout. The large garden boasts a beautiful waterside
location, offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family over a few drinks or bite to eat.
The menus focus on the best of fresh, seasonal local produce including
vegetables and herbs from the Fountain’s own kitchen garden. You will find classic favourites such as Sussex crispy fish plate through to grilled pork with caramelised apple
and rosemary grilled sirloin of beef, or you can choose from our lighter larder selection in the style of deli boards, sandwiches and salads. Did we mention puddings? All homemade and utterly scrumptious!
Children are warmly welcomed at The Fountain and our children’s menu
has been given the thumbs up by the owner’s three year old son!
